Examinations
Daily we conduct pre-placement, annual, foreign travel, and worker's compensation exams. Dr. Robert Bourgeois and Dr. Mark Boquet perform dive physicals to the standards set forth by the ADCI. Drs. Melvin and Robert Bourgeois are First Class Aviation Medical Examiners / Senior AME’s and perform FAA flight physicals for all airman medical classes. Physical examinations for Merchant Mariners (USCG), US Department of Transportation (FMCSA), Oil & Gas United Kingdom (OGUK) formerly (UKOOA), Vanuatu, Panamanian Maritime, several OSHA surveillance and other governmental and regulatory entities are performed in our clinic.

We all strive for excellence in preventing work-related injuries and illnesses, but they still happen from time to time. We at Bourgeois Medical Clinic are prepared to handle your worker’s compensation injuries and illnesses by having a fully-equipped, fully-staffed, state-of-the-art clinic with three physicians very knowledgeable in occupational medicine illness and injury care. Our staff members work very efficiently at preparing the employee to be seen and in carrying out physician orders afterwards. We are committed to providing excellent care to injured or ill workers in a timely manner, enabling the employee to return to work as soon as possible. Frequent updates from us to employers assist with a smooth transition back to regular duty if any work modifications are necessary.
